Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Dark gold and hazy with a large and slightly loose off-white head. Tangerine, papaya and resinous notes in the aroma. Fairly bitter taste with loads of white grapefruit and tropical fruits. Finish is intensely bitter bordering on the astringent. A bit much of a muchness but overall quite enjoyable.

2026 Skipton Beer Festival #8. Mildly hazy, first and probably my only keg pour of the festival. It's crisp in the sun for it, despite a full-bodied strength. There's some fruitiness of the tropical, but mild in terms of taste. Enjoying the crispness is probably more why you'd order this one, although given it's a special it might not get too widely available.
