2016-06-24, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 7-4-4-2-10= 27
Amber color, bright and hazy. The aroma has a bit of caramel going with some fruity hops. The mouthfeel is too dry, the malt flavor too poor, ordinary bitterness, not much hop quality, and it has definitively a good amount of off flavor, vegetable and metallic.
Not very good.

Hazy golden color with creamy head. Nice aroma, fruity, some sweet oranges, mango, tropical fruit, candies. Surprisingly, there is almost no malt flavor, bit there are traces of chemicals. Strong bitterness, but dubious hop qualities; some gasoline in the final.
Weird; maybe the keg is off.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some citrus zest, and crackery malt. Flavour brings out tangy citrus hops upfront, with some piney, and a crispy biscuity malt backbone. Well-balanced, with a lovely tanginess that shines. Very good.

Draft - Light toast and malts and some peppery sweetness. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Perfume, malts and some spice. Very perfumy, lightly herbal and sweet. Odd for sure.

Decent. Clear orange pour with no head or lacing. Some citrus, malt and resin, but nothing in particular stands out here. Soft carbonation. Tap at volos.

Medium, thick cream-coloured head over slightly hazed foxy-orange to red-amber beer. Strangely enough, the caramel comes out first, the citrussy hops coming behind rather hesitantly. Somehow, bit gassy smell. Very bitter, rather indifferent bitterness with some citrussy compontents. Finish, however, with harsh, metallic to medicinal flavours. Caramel is overwhelmed in the taste. Hopresin content gives a wry, dry-out effect. Warming up, rosewater enters as the only sweeter flavour. Medium bodied, quite slick. Aftertaste, certainly after some warming, yields (running) cheesy hopflavours. Despite the above, somewhat negative comments, the beer remains fairly drinkable and certainly far from unpleasant. J’aime le nom - bien trouvé!

A golden amber IPA with a thick light moka head. A fragrant pinhey hops in aroma, mentholated, american and classic. In mouth, a pinhey herbaceous hops in mouth, lingering, citrus pulp, alcohol warmth. On tap at Mondial 2011, June 9, 2011.
