Pretty good rye beer. An easy drinking session German rye. Pours cloudy amber with good head and lacing. Some citrus. Big malt profile here. Medium bitter finish. I like this. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at Clyde’s Mark Center poured into a Forge snifter/tulip. Murky caramel brown delivered to the table with no head. Aromas of stone fruit, honey, caramel, spices, yeast, banana candy. Tastes of stone fruit, malt, caramel, yeast, banana, herbs, very light rye. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid, could use more rye.

4oz pour at the brewery. Pours a hazy, burnt orange with a ring of white head. Fruity nose, orange, clove, bubblegum. Flavor is peppery, candy, clove, malt, cracker, soap Peppery finish. Could have passed for a dunkel. The weizen yeast is the dominant force for better or worse.

Draft at the source. Cloudy golden amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma of lightly spiced bread dough. Taste is fruity bubblegum with light spice. The rye and wheat combo is really interesting, and it works!

Draft at the source, opening night, welcome to the neighborhood! This one poured a pale, cloudy yellow-orange color, no head to speak of. Aroma is light notes of grain. Flavor is very light, sweet notes in this one. Easy to drink, but definitely needs more rye in it to bump up some of the unique notes that rye beer can bring to the table.
