Draft at the source. Hazy golden color, white edge head. Aroma of cigarette smoke from the guy sitting next to me. The beer itself is pepery straw. Taste is funky straw and black pepper.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is lightly bready and slightly noble. Med body. Flavor is lightly bready with some earthiness. Maybe a little floral. Maybe not. Flavor is strong for the style. Better this way.

Tap at Double Mountain, Hood River, 24/05/13. Hazed light yellow with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, lemon squash. Taste comprises cereals, pale malts, citrus. Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation. Sub average kolsch which doesn’t really capture the style for me, more akin to a helles.

Tap. Light yeast aroma. Cloudy yellow. Light fruity spicyness on straw malt. Hay finish. Medium body, sparkling mouthfeel. Misses it’s mark.

Sampled at GCBF '10, pours yellow blonde with a white head. This one was sadly underwhelming - bland flavours of pale malt, rice and light hops. Not good.
