I had a version of this beer that was dry hopped and cask conditioned and you wouldn’t believe the difference. That said, I asked the brewers at the Shirlington location what they dry hopped with and they told me Cascade oil. I guess that counts as dry hopping. Pours a translucent, amber brown with a creamy white head and no carbonation. Aroma is heavy on the pine and lemons with a hint of biscuit. Flavor had plenty of fruit, lemons and the dry hopping really brought out the biscuit flavors of the beer. Finish was dry and a little boozy. Much better than the standard amber waves on tap.

Draught at the brewpub, Downtown location
Amber color. Simple aroma. Good caramel flavor, quite good body structure, and bold bitterness. Pleasant.

Capitol Hill location. Great beer. Loved the floral, hoppy aroma, and the great hop taste. And boy did it certainly have a strong hop taste. Thought it was the best of the sampler, so I got myself a whole pint later.

An amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet fruity - peaches is the strongest, combined with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a good fruitiness, as well as hints of caramel, leading to a short bitter and citrusy end.
