Im Jahre 1800 kam das erste bayrische, dunkle Bier nach Dänemark. Es war das erste untergärige Bier in Dänemark und weil es so beliebt war nennt man dieses Bier heute noch "bajer".
Das Bier von 1800 hatte eine rötliche, dunkle Farbe und einen vollmundigen, würzigen Geschmack. So ein Bier wurde auch im Jahr 1864 im deutsch-dänisch Krieg bei den Düppeler Schanzen getrunken. Die Brauer der Westindien Compagnie aus Flensburg haben dieses Bier nach alter Rezeptur wieder eingebraut. Nicht als Stärkung für die Schlacht, sondern einfach zum Essen oder mit Freunden zum Genießen.
Nicht umsonst heißt es auf der Flasche "Foren jer og drik øl" - vertragt Euch und trinkt Bier

Bottled. An red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle@RBESG2015, Copenhagen - Amber pour with small white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, some dried fruits, caramel, sweet finish.

75 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge off white head. Aroma is toasted malt and light breadish. Toasted malty. Dry, toasted and caramelish. Breadish and light herbal dry finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy copper brown with rocky, airy beige head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and caramel, with notes of bubble gum and yeast. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with fruity and estery and coriander notes and hints of hops and citrus. Sweetish aftertaste with notes of caramel. High carbonation. Slightly watery, though. Not bad but rather sweet, possibly like the victory at Dybbøl for Prussia.

Bottle, 6.5%. Very caramelly aroma, smells like crystal malt. Clear dark amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is also quite caramelly, same as the aroma. A little sweet, but not too much. Teaish bonbon finish. Seems to have a faint liquorice note, must be the coriander.
