Draft at Penn Spring Brewfest. Opaque golden bronze. Clovy wheat-hefe aroma. Medium-bodied, some banana flavor. Light and simple taste-wise. Hmm..yeast seems to carry this beer, no malt backbone. OK at best.

Can thanks to zathrus13. Pours a hazy orange with a finger or so of foamy white head. Aroma is great, with strong banana, clove, vanilla, toffee, and a hint of rum. Taste is yeasty with fruit and a bit of metal in the finish. On the fizzy side of thinks. Solid can of beer.

Pours a hazy straw color, with a huge head that dissipates quickly - strong wheat in the aroma, with thick notes of clove, nuts, flowers, and cardamom - full mouthfeel, medium body - wheaty/bready and a bit tart up front - some nutty character and a bit of the clove come through afterwards - the tartness makes way for a rather strong bitterness for the style, as well as some peppery qualities - gets a bit dry and chalky near the finish, and the tartness returns - some phenolic character in the finish, and a bit of spicy warmth (alcohol?) - an unusual hefe, but it’s refreshing despite this.

Can, thanks Todd! Cloudy yellow, big tanned foam. Perfumed clove aroma, a little bit fead yeast. Fairly spicy flavor - besides the clove, orangepeel a bit cardemom and pepper. Dusty white bread, a good bit citric hops in the finish. Some slightly weird phenolic notes as well giving it a bit muddled impression overall. Interesting though.

Cloudy beige/tan, with large bubbles and a large head. Aroma of pear and slightly sweaty yeast. Flavour is balanced with some moderate sweetness, covered by yeastiness. Finishes with a hint of wheaty tartness. Full body, spritzy at the end. OK, but not really hitting the high notes I want from the style (esp in terms of malt sweetness and estery/phenolic complexity). Thanks, John!

On tap at Phoenixville location...hazy pale orange, yummy clove and orange essences....creamy with a froth on the taste buds, cloves and cream slide through the senses...very easy going, a tasty wheat sensation

12 oz. can from willblake. Pour is a hazy orange gold with a nice big white head. Aroma is bananas, wheat and earthy yeastiness. Taste is really spicy, with cloves, banana and a bunch of wheat. Real nice, slightly tart wet finish. Some citrus in the body as well. This is certainly the best Hefeweizen I have had in a can. Very refreshing. Thanks Jon!
