We submit to you this Imperials Cascadian Dark Ale. A black elixir of malt and hop goodness. Forget the craziness of the fall and fear not as the dark days approach.

650mL bottle, pours a near-black / dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out dark fruits and roasted malts, atop some citrusy hops - fruitier nose than most black IPAs. Flavour mirrors this almost perfectly, with loads of dark roasted malts and dark fruits, counteracted by a medium-harsh hop character, finishing on a hoppy, roasted note. There is also a bit of chocolate in there somewhere. Not the most robust body, and actually rather mellow for it being an imperial black IPA, as it tends to be a rather harsh style. Solid stuff and very easy drinking for the style.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with medium tan head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of pine, plum, roasted malts and chocolate. Flavors of hops/pine, a bit of chocolate powder, malt, and a touch of citrus. Very nice.
