12 oz. bottle. Almost clear golden color. Light citrus, mild pine aroma.
Flavor is mostly grassy bitterness, but mild. Hop flavor profile could improve. Mild caramel malts. Decent, no major flaws.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus and floral notes. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, malt, candied fruit. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid if you’re into maltier IPAs.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy bronzed golden orange with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. A good amount of white clingy and ringy lacing glazed around the sides of the glass.
The smell had a decent citrus to piney hops overcoating a delicate caramel malt.
The taste had pretty much the same with a sticky piney aftertaste leading to sticky dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and the bitterness is there but allows a decent sticky citrus to sharpen and delicately stroll across my tongue.
Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again. It definitely had a different mouthfeel, but still everything else seemed spot on.

Rich, hazy deep copper and amber coloured body with a rich, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, passionfruit, pine and a good deal of malt to accompany those hops. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and resinous flavour from the hops up front with a lot of malt backbone and some subtle apricot and caster sugar sweetness near the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of earth and hops, but also some graham crackers, yeast, apples and quite a bit of floral and nutty hops. Overall, a nicely balanced East Coast (without a doubt) IPA with a lot of hop character and that rich malt backbone to show its not from the West Coast. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 01-November-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 14-February-2015.

Lilly and marigold nose, good strength. Clear amber, medium yellow head. Strong lilly, marigold, and daffodil flavor. Ash finish, once the aspirin bitterness fades off. Medium body, resinous, moderate carbonation, alcohol is noticeable. Well-hopped, but unbalanced. A bit much too much. If you’re looking for insane floral hoppiness, go nuts with this one.
