750ml bottle shared with Anndiesel. Unfiltered, thick yeasty orange-tan body. Massive, steady, creamy, white head. Rather creamy, yeasty for the style, which I think works well, as it covers up or complements the more aggressive bubblegum, lychee, slight banana tones. A hair sweeter, but has the classic mouthfeel of a good, authentic Farmhouse Ale, My bottle is almost 7 months past expiration...but I think it just landed in the store. Holds up rather well, but the hop tones aren’t enjoyable as they might have once been. Some serious floaties at the end of the bottle. Pretty respectable offering, I would love to try it fresher. Drinks pretty big, like it was 9% or so.

Draught @ Jimmys No.43. Hazy golden yellow with medium sized white creamy head, doughy aroma with a hint of citrus, low carbonation, salty taste with vanilla flavor, long finish with slightly bitter aftertaste. Reminiscent of Belgian strong ale.

Bottle - Funk and light cheese with some light perfume and citrus. Cloudy gold with a nice white head. Sweet funky, perfumy and a long bitterness on the tongue.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of honey, some farmhouse notes, and light spices. Flavour brings out spicy hops, farmhouse notes, and an earthy quality. Well-constructed, with a spicy finish. Decent, though not overly complex.

The Sampler, Brooklyn bottle: This very Cantalan [sic] beer pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is farmhouse funk, subdued hoppiness, light fruitiness. Taste has slight hoppy bite. Dry, a bit chalky, finish. Nice Stillwater tastes are certainly there. L’Anjub as a brewery is nothing to mess with when it is fresh either.

375ml bottle pour at Max’s Belgian Fest 2014. Pours a very hazy gold with loads of active white head. Nose has lemon, grass, candy, hay, herbal, sweet. Flavor is grassy, lemon pith, chalky, a little lemon-lime soda. Slick, chalky finish. Solid. Very Cantalan.
