Bottle directly from Stiegl brewery shop in Salzburg. According to their description, this should be Gruit style in my opinion. Color: Lightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Herbal, spicy notes. Taste: Herbal, spicy, floral. Like drinking an Austrian alpine meadow. Light sweet and moderate to over moderate herbal bitterness. Just below medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting herbal finish. Nice experiment from Stiegl Wild Shut.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild bitter, herbal. Toasted malty. Bitter and slight sweet malty. Dry and bitter, toasted finish. Dry and bitter finish.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015 (TEODRBSG15) ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As Stiegl Hausbier Gmahde Wiesn ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, mint, minerals, bubble gum, herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, minerals, mint, fruit - floral, yeast, pale malt, herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150829]

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma has floral and herbal notes, coriander, weeds and yeast. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are cookies, malt, fruits and hops. Sweet biscuit like finish.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Hazy pale golden color, small white head. Smell and taste both remind me of dishwasher water, some cleaning agent with citrus flavor added or some citrussy ointment that keeps bugs away. Don’t like it.
