12oz bottle pours a slightly hazy, burnt orange with a ring of sticky, slightly off white head. Nose is what you’d expect, cinnamon, nutmeg, some brown sugar, some white pepper, some roasted squash, a little candy. Flavor follows right along, canned pumpkin puree, cinnamon, brown sugar, ginger, all spice. Spicy finish. What you’d expect.

12 oz. bottle from Julio’s Liquors. Thick cap of white head on top an amber liquid. Some lace. Nose is light notes of nutmeg and pumpkin. Flavor is orange gourd, cinnamon, nutmeg and a light touch of vanilla. Caramel malt base. Light in body. Finish is clean and has a lightly creamy texture. Easy enough to drink. Average.

Sample at Hal & Al’s during the Pumpkin Beer Tasting on 10/15/2013: Clear orange-amber pour with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing. Malt, pumpkin and caramel in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of toasted malt, nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is sweet with a ginger and pumpkin aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of ginger, cinnamon, light gourd. Spice is not overwhelming in the taste, but not too exciting either. Decent enough.

Pours clear orange into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger aromas. Thin with pumpkin upfront turning dry in lasting nutmeg finish.

My first pumpkin beer of the season so I can’t start complaining yet. And this one’s actually decent with nice integration of clove, ginger and gourd. Pours orange with a little head and lacing. Average carbonation. Finishes slightly sweet from malt and spice. Tap at brewpub.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a murky orange-caramel color with a trace white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet cinnamon sugar, nutmeg and a hint of toasted caramel. The flavor was sweet caramel, bread, cinnamon and nutmeg. Long sweet caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg finish. Moderately full bodied though a bit undercarbonated. Ok.

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a light orange glow and a nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of squash, yeast, bread, allspice, a hint of tea and a small amount of ginger. Medium-bodied; Assertive pumpkin/squash notes up front with a strong earthy/malty note and a hint of toffee and caramel. Aftertaste shows slightly more spices than noticeable up front, but not much coming through - only a tiny bit of squash and allspice - nothing else of note. Overall, a decent pumpkin beer, but I was expecting much more complexity and easily some more depth. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Malvern, Pennsylvania on 22-September-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 05-November-2012, on election eve in the USA.

Thought I had this before. On tap at the Bocktown monaca, nice place you got there monacatootha! Smells like pumpkin spice. Looks like pale lager. Thin head. Some cinnamon on the taste. Not much punky in there really. Bitter slight medicinal finish.
