Thanks altonbrownd for the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing dark caramel brown and sparse foam. Well filtered. The nose is very sweetish-malt forward with hints of tea and biscuits. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of straight bready malts with a very light sweetness. No bitterness on the finish. Light zestiness

12oz bottle pours a transparent copper amber with some creamy, slightly off white head. Smells very malty, cracker, grist, yeast, orange, bread crust. Flavor is malty, cracker, baked biscuit, a little root beer, some roasted parsnips, yeast. Smells and tastes like an altbier. Creamy finish. Decent, but not true to style.

Tap. Pours clear deep amber with a very small off-white head that dissipates quickly with no lacing. Aroma is dominated by roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is also mildly sweet caramel roasted malt with notable grassy bitterness. Not bad, actually
