Weicher säuerlicher Antrunk, etwas nach Brause. Wirklich stark ist die Säuerlichkeit nicht, dafür deutliche Weinnoten, fruchtig, harmonisch! Später etwas trocken, das Bier gefällt. 12/9/11/9/8/10

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Clear yellow golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma has a lot of vinous notes and a lot of grapes and yeast. Taste grape peel, grape peel sour-bitter, a little dry finish. Meh, don’t really like it.

Bottle at Christian Firtal. Hazy golden with a small white head. Fruity aroma of pear, melon and pineapple with a little alcohol. Sweetish tart, fruity flavour. Quite complex, but too much yeast character for my taste. Champagne yeast, boo...

Bottled:
Lots of juicy grape flavours in this one; tastes more like a really dry white wine than a beer. Very refreshing.

375 ml bottle shared by Sebilinz at RB Tasting Linz, thanks!
Yellow, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Aroma of celery, coriander, lemongrass, sweet berries, sweet malts.
Tastes of wine, grapes, sweet ripe fruits, sour fruits, some grass, earth.
Quite light mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes fruity, vinous, sweet, a bit grassy.

Very nice. The nose is pretty unique, while the taste is quite vinous and sweet. Drinks pretty easy, the ABV isn’t noticeable. Unique stuff, wouldn’t categorise this as Belgian Strong.
