4 oz pour on cask at ChurchKey. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, aged floral. Tastes of citrus, light floral notes, spices. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Cask might be past prime, believe this has probably been on for a couple weeks.

Tap. Pours hazy pale golden, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma is light, really light, hints of melon and perhaps cucumber, pine. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, really low on defined taste. Shockingly little going on. This must be old, but it’s being served at the source. Fullish kinda sticky body.

Lots of citrus in here initially but hops taper off near the end. Something of a lager crispness, though still has good hoppy bitterness. Evident barley malt. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Lots of peel in here, and some astringency. Tap at brewpub.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of citrus and pine resin. Bitter finish.
From a 22 oz bottle. Tasted pretty darn good -- better than my original rating.

Draught @ Churchkey, Wash., D.C. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and fruit with citric touches. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavout with notes of hops and grass. Mild, hoppy finish. The best example of this damned beer stule I have ever had. Rather watery. Tastes more like an IPA than a SPL. That’s why.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear vibrant copper color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pale malt and spicy hops. The taste is spicy, herbal hops, faint caramel malts. Medium bodied, well balanced. 50th imperial pils rating!

22oz bomber I picked up at the brewer. The idea is this is an India Pale Lager. I’m on board. Pours a hazy orange with some thin, lacing white head. Nose is interesting, some yeast, a lot of pith, orange rind, grapefruit rind, some grass, lemon. Flavor follow suit, a lot of citrus pith, orange, lemon, grapefruit, some sweetness, almost a little corn sweetness, some pine, soap. Herbal, pithy finish. Good, a little messy, but good.

Consumed on premise - 5oz taster. Poured a light hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was plenty of citrus notes, some grassy character. Crisp flavor, some grapefruit, orange citrus, with some herbal notes. Very clean, refreshing brew. Wouldn’t have expected this to have been a lager (not because they’re bad but because it strikes me as an IPA more than anything else).
