Smooth flavor with a subtle malt sweetness accented with the delicate aroma of Czech hops. This brilliant gold ale is a mellow but flavorful microbrew.

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, hoos and notes of bread. Sweet malty finish.

Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of grain. Tastes like sweet malt with a decent hop note on the back of the tongue. Palate is fairly unremarkable with not many distinguishable notes. Drinkable but not very notable.

Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was spice notes, some malts, hops. Clean hops, malts, spice notes. This one was okay.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Darien. Pours a clear golden amber color with a thin white head that quickly fades. Aroma of honey, toasted grain and floral hops. The taste is pale malts, honey, nutty notes and an herbal hop finish. Thin-medium bodied.

Bottle 2 of my CT tasting week. Pours hazy yellow with blan aromas. Taste is yeasty, of straw, grains, bananas, grass. Touch of bitterness but too watery. My wife enjoyed a lot though

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy orange gold with a transient white head. Aroma seems mildly citric. Med body/sharp carb. Flavor is citrus bitter. Not getting a lot of malt. It is crisp. Bitter enough to be enjoyable. Another sessionable ale.

This zero yeast pour is clear gold with thin white head. The aroma is floral hops and a pulse of sweet malts as well as some graininess. The taste seems to lack the graininess noted in the nose to provide some balance to this sugary, malty sweet, seemingly honey enhanced sweet onslaught of a brew. The floral hops and spicy hop bitterness that occasionally murmur to the surface don’t really offer any help against the sweetness either.
