Smooth flavor with a subtle malt sweetness accented with the delicate aroma of Czech hops. This brilliant gold ale is a mellow but flavorful microbrew.

Bottle. Pours a with a pale gold with a big white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is very sweet with notes of light fruits, citrus and flora. Flavor is more grainy with a cereal note but citrus hops build towards the finish.

creamy for a blonde, which actually makes it very nice to drink, great palate. a little more taste and this would rate much higher.

Pours clear, pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention leaves no lacing as it recedes. Biscuit and malt aromas. Crisp with malts from front to back. Rather boring...

This bottle courtesy of John jjpm74, thanks and appreciation go his way! 12 oz brown bottle that pours like a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Aroma is rather candy sweet and attractive, makes my mouth water. Head is thin and creamy and it never fades, it’s like the head you see on stronger ales. Interesting first taste bud sensations, Mild and mannered, very low bitterness in this brew. Carbonation is medium low and creamy. You’d never know this was a 5% beer, the alky is well hidden, seems more like a 3% brew. IMHO this stuff is much more enjoyable than Oskar Blues Money Shot Cream Ale! Taste and etiquette is better than Genesee Cream Ale. There is a very slight refined malt bitterness that builds throughout the session on this brew but it never even gets close to the offensive level. Nice unique personality that makes this beer easy to enjoy and repeatable, probably a good session brew. Overall, one of the better cream ales I’ve tasted and it approaches the level of Anderson Valley Summer Solstice Cerveza Crema, the best cream ale I have ever tasted. Finish is mild and fine, what you would expect from a very good brewed lager, no problems whatsoever.

Poured a clear gold color with absolutely no head. None. Yeasty aroma, but also alot like wine. Looks like wine too. Hmm. Flavor is lacking, a little grassy and slightly grainy. Finish was smooth and crisp. Very light, I just don’t care for the style and this is too simplistic.

Hazy amber body with a small creamy white head. Sweet grainy aroma. Sweet malty flavor.

2005 bottle at Julios 1st Annual beer Spring beer fest. Golden color, light haze with a foamy white head, great retention. Aroma of grass, light lager yeast, though it’s an ale. Spicy and lightly dry, there is not much sweetness to this one. Drinking it provides a floral hops flavor, with a hay and barley malt flavor as well. Dry and light bodied, it ends rather quickly. I’ve had much maltier examples, and whlie I do like the fruitiness from the higher lagering temperatures, I would like to see some darker, sweet malts. There’s no reason not to add them. I suppose they are trying to keep this beer not-challenging, but it has a good texture and hops profile, just needs the malt.
