[44cl can from the Beer52 shop, rapidly approaching its best before date.] A mango smoothie looking pour with a thin white head; rich tropical fruit aroma; smooth in the mouth with lots of ripe tropical fruit - mango, papaya and pineapple; then a long fruity finish with a light bitterness and some lemony acidity adding freshness. Very good.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of passionfruit and melon. Flavour of orange cream and cantaloupe. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A solid example of the Galaxy hop, though it’s cleaner and less dank than I was expecting based on previous Galaxy heavy IPAs I’ve tried.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 02/12/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a lasting white cap.
Nose is mango flesh, grass, papaya, ripe melon, mixed tropicana, faint soap.
Taste comprises orange zest, light soapy tingle, grass, melon, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness.
Okay ... off putting light soapy elements creeping in for me.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small but tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Galaxy shining brightly here as it should. Crisp cooling pine, a light hop spice. Tangerine, mandarin, tropical fruits, all bright and fresh. A light and semi dry finish. Really nice single hop IPA, showcasing modern Galaxy really well. It's a very different hop from the one that first turned up a decade and more ago. That hop was a really bitter bastard and tasted of canned fruit salad. I kinda miss that hop but this version is rather splendid to.
