50cl can. Poured clear golden with a trothy, lasting white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grass. Flavor has grainy malt, grass, sweet malt. Low bitterness. Crisp, better than I had expected.

Piwo ma niewiele wspólnego z czeskim stylem. Choć lekko go przypomina, trochę się wyczuwa żatecki chmiel lecz zdecydowanie jest mniej chmielone niż inne czeskie piwa, zdecydowanie delikatniejsze w smaku no ale brawa za dobre wzorce.

bottle from a local Russian supermarket. Clear golden yelow ith a persistent white head. Fruity aroma. Light-bodied, sweet malty start with lots of fruit (apple, pear), shy hops with cardboard. A Bohemian Pilsener? A Czech name doesn’t make a Czech beer!

High fluffy and lasting white head. Clear golden body. Sweet barley malt aroma with grassy notes. Malt grass hay flavor with low carbonation and a short aftertaste.

Clear golden color, good white head. Cardboardish, skunky, grassy aroma. Light to medium bodied. Lots of cardboard, sweetish maltyness, low bitterness. Typical cheap East European/Baltic pale lager.

Green bottle from Half Time. Pours gold with a slight white head. Aroma is sort of corn with a hint of skunk - which might be my imagination. Med body. Flavor is bready with some arguably grassy hop - seems a bit gummy in the mouth. Skunk is still possibile, but very light if present.

Pale straw. No head. Looks dull. Only the faintest hints of hop and malt, like they were aiming for a ghost of a Czech beer.

Canned, from St. Petersburg. Clear golden, creamy head. Aroma of bread and earl grey tea. Fairly sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Mild sugar and bread, slight hay-like saaz hops. Fairly low bitterness. Quite drinkable, although the saaz character is a bit too restrained and the Carlsberg/BBH cheap malt character is too obvious.

Bottle. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops and some slightly grainy malt. Grassy hops in the flavor along with some bready malt sweetness, some graininess and a bitter finish with light metallic notes. Medium body and a slightly fizzy mouthfeel.

0.5L bottle, medium stable head, deep golden yellow colour, aroma of rubber with some hebal hops and vanila aroma,strong herbal hoppy bitterness with distinct vanila flavours and a hint of honey, medium to short sour and bitter aftertaste. Not a bad pilsener.
