The evolution of American Pale Ale—still a session beer but it sacrifices nothing—clear hop flavor shines through without being too dominant, and there’s a great malt flavor uncommon to the variety. The backbone of this beer is the balance of imported Maris Otter and Caramunich malts with the pine and citrus flavors of Centennial, Simcoe, and Citra hops.

At the CLT Club, Charlotte airport. Orange with a white head. Citrus with malt and a soapy note. Oof, that soap is killing the beer. Medium bodied. Decent start but the soap ends it.

16 ounce can. Thanks Buzzy. Clear, brassy gold color. Large, rocky beige head. Faint tropical fruit aroma. Flavor is sweet, bready malt and bittersweet citrus. Notes of lemon, orange and melon. Hints of sticky pine in the dry, bitter finish.

First taste right from the chilled 16 oz pounder can. Initial impressions are rude immature brewer attempts at a beer. Sharp and astringent. I assume its clear and pale, like others say below. Nasty Nellie, a little worse than a standard IPA. Yes, that sharp astringent bitter ass thong (thing) is so apparent, its innyer face. Difficult bullshit, rude and unusually nasty. Yea, I'gonnah finish this bastard because I paid 2 bucks for it at total wine in NC: So there you have it. Could not drink another, I'm actually disappointed its not 12 frichjken ounces; and I rarely feel like that about any beery brew. This stuff is a mess, like an experiment gone wrong, then made up a name that match's the BS presented? Just didn't want to take the loss ND? Just asking.

Thanks for the can Jason! Pours a clear orange gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Overripe orange and citrus zest on the nose with kind of old malt aromas. Bread and caramel dominate the palate with more overripe citrus.

Can at CLT. Tried to get this rated on the mobile app but couldn't get the old or new version to post anything but a score and couldn't be bothered to retype things again... Decent APA with citrus and pine. Nothing special to call out.

10 day old pint can A: Clear tawny gold with short thick foam retaining well and leaving thick lace. S: Earthy and toasty malt aroma. Low key hops are earthy or leafy. T: Orange citrus pith and zest with pine and pronounced wood and toast malt notes. Tastes like Cascade though there's none. Well balanced leaning malty, sort of English-y. M: Light and crisp, finishing very clean and refreshing. O: Not bad. American hops and English malts strike a nice balance.
