This Double West Coast IPA showcases πππππππ alongside a lineup of absolute hop heavyweights: ππ₯ ππ¨π«πππ¨ from @crosbyhops , ππ’ππ«π ππ§ππ¨π π§π’ππ¨ from @haas_hops , and our selected ππ’ππ«π πππ from @yakimachief . Inspired by some of our favourite West Coast IPA brewers, we kept the malt bill lean and low in colour, allowing the π‘π¨π©π¬ to do all the talking. The result is a beer that is ππ«π² ππ
, dangerously drinkable, and endlessly refreshing. A blend of yeast strains brings classic West Coast character while contributing bright, expressive fruit esters that make every sip π©π¨π©.

Bright pale gold. No head, good bittermess. Hop has a lychee note, pomelo, decent balance, maybe some 586 in there? Or dolcita? One of those candyvape-tasting hops Iβm not a fan of. Must be the 1671, this is my first try of that one. Description of dry af is odd because thatβs a fermentation thing, not a hop thing.

On tap at Threefold. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Light pine, citrus, resins on the nose. Flavour has citrus peels, some brittle pine, dry resins, moderately bitter. Very weird, sweaty character. Palate is quite light and mineraly. A bit boozy on the finish. Both hops and malts are coming through very light, is this really a DIPA?

473 ml can. Pours a bright gold with light head. (Wow, a bright beer from this brewery!) Aromas of lemons, resin, forest floor and soft toasted malts. Flavors of pine, citrus, pineapple, wine gums and biscuity malts. Surprisingly good.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 28 May 2026). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Quite clean, mild lemony citrus and pine hops, body is a bit light for a DIPA, decent, but a touch subdued.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a large, fluffy white head. Nose has some nice resinous hops, some cat piss (more than allium) from the Citra, light pine, and gently sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is robust, with quite a lot of Citra showcasing itself in the cat piss variety, with an almost tart citrusy character, and a touch of resinous oiliness. Very thin malt baseβthereβs a touch of sweetness, but itβs minimal. Unusual hop expression that borders on the tart without really being so. Good, quite unique westie DIPA.
