“Our little brewery would like to highlight a young Belgian artist Gaëlle Boulanger. She’s a magnificent painter, illustrator and graphic designer.

There will be a series of five special edition bottles, each of which featuring work from Gaëlle on the label. After all the bottles in the edition have been sold, the original painting will be auctioned for the benefit of the artist. This is a unique opportunity to get to know the great work of this young artist.

Bottle shared by Joes & Judyvv @ "Zunt Om Nog Langer Te Bewaren" tasting (ZONLTB). Clear golden color, virtually no head. Smell and taste are horrible, absolutely dreadful. No words for this. Rotting carcasses smell better than this. Ok, the taste is less bad. Sourish and a little weird but I drank it while holding my breath. Why, just why?

Noe tåkete orangebrun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter sure røde bær, brøddeig, gjær og noe vanilje. Mild sur, syrlig og søtlig smak. Syrligheten sitter igjen. Lite kullsyre. Tørr.

Bottle at The Cad’s 10 yr Shindig. Thanks to Mattyo. It pours hazy amber with a massive dirty white head. The nose is soft, doughy, musty, grainy, funky, lemon sherbet, earth green apple and barnyard. The taste is crisp, tart, doughy, funky, granny smith apple, light spice/herbal notes, cereal and lemon sherbet. Medium body, high carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Looks like I am in the minority, but I sort of liked this. Interesting for sure!

750ml bottle. Belgiuminabox.com. Pours very gloopy. Hazy orange. Film of white head. Not the most handsome of beers. Bready, and yeasty. Apple skin. Some acidity. Some bready malts. Taste is tart. Yeasty dry. It’s a Fantome, but not as we know it.
