To craft Off Again, the Fonta Flora crew teamed up with Cellarest Beer Project. They started with a simple grist of local two row pilsner and dextrin malt. Then they boiled it in their open-top oak foeder using local granite rocks heated in a wood fire! Popular prior to metal mash tuns, this style of Steinhelles — German for ‘stone Helles’ — brims with flavors of toffee and minerality thanks to the stones’ hot surfaces instantly caramelizing the sugars they touch.
The duo then delicately hopped the Lager with Hallertau and Perle, fermented it cool with Fonta Flora’s house lager yeast, and spunded the brew for a crisp, ultra-authentic sip.
Tasting Notes
Every golden pour perfumes the air with bouquets of floral aromas and wafts of freshly baked bread. The sip follows, toasted brioche tones and hints of wildflower leading into delicate caramel plus a whisper of smoky char. It all flows into a grassy, herbal flourish on a refreshing finish.

Can via Appalachian. Cracker into a pint glass between some smoked boars head hotdogs. Two of my favorite breweries, who cares that it's two months old...
Medium-light pale gold pour with a thin but heady white wash.
Melon + grassy nose. Secondary floral that lingers.
Flavor start off floral, a bit of sweetness, earthy bite, old wood, lingering yeasty finish. Small bit of caramel. Some banana yeasties become noticable as it warms. Just a wink of astringentcy but it needs a bit more bite.
Full carb, very plush feel, texture is very soft, low acid, low abv session loves you.
Cheers.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is bready with a little floral hop. Med body. Fairly dry despite the malty/breadiness. Enough bitter, and not taking much, to balance. Hops seem to be lightly grassy/spicy. No long thinking floral. It's light overall, but quite refreshing.

16 oz can.
Aroma is rich honey malt with soft floral hints. Flavor has wonderful layers of rich, honey and bread like malt. Mild notes of dried apple. Subtle mineral hints with a nicely crisp texture. Very mild bitterness. Excellent overall balance.
Super clean and refreshing quality. Finely put together lager!
