Canned. Medium brown pour with big head. Clean rye giving way to malts. Quite good......

Bottle. The label says Hop forward Rye Ale. Not sure how I would classify this beer but it wasn't too bad.

Draft at Flying Saucer, Nashville. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Aroma is rye, malt, spice. Taste is caramel, rye, mild fruitiness, bit of pine, spice. Decent.

Amber with a thin white head. Some spicy rye, pepper, sweet toasted malt, pine. Medium bodied. Good flavor throughout.

Pretty good little rye ale, peppery and dry with a grainy malt base and plenty of spicy rye on the back end. Earthy malts with a hint of biscuit and caramel add balance to the piney, citric hops, while the bitter finish leads to a rye toast fade. Pours a reddish brown with a thin off-white head and modest lacing. Pine and rye on the nose. Slick, slightly undercarbonated feel is pretty easy to put back. Nice pint.

Can: Cloudy amber-brown with a ridiculously giant beige head. Rye, caramel aroma. Flavour is rye malt.......slightly peppery.....leafy/hay bitering. Very nice.

Pours a clear rich brown from a can, off-white head dissipates, minimal lacing. Smells citrusy and piney, a little like cleaning solution. Flavor is a bit of an odd lemon/orange/rye mishmash, rather soapy. The rye is nice and peppery/sour, I just find the hops a little much. Good beer.
