Sampled on draft at the Headkeeper this beer poured a hazy golden-amber color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, dryish, spicy, peppery, piney and a bit fruity. The flavor was tangy, dryish, spicy, dusty and had touches of orange, pine and floral hops. Medium length dryish spicy and dusty orange finish. Ok.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a nice translucent orange color, problem though: there was virtually no head or lacing on this one. Aroma and flavor were some citrus grapefruit, light malts. A bit thin. Not as enjoyable as I had hoped.

A pale blonde ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice herbal malt with grassy hops, light oregano, nice. In mouth, a chalky biscuit malt with grassy spiced hops, not bad.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap ($7ish): Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is pine and citrus. Taste is full, but smaller than an IPA, with a hoppiness that is little below what a full IPA would have. Nevertheless it is very nice and sessionable.
