Rcvd in trade.
The appearance was a super hazy orange close to amber colored body with a one finger and a half worth’s white foamy head that once it dies after a good minute there’s a lot of thick clingy lacing.
The smell has a big wheat aroma covering over some pale malts and slightly fruity.
The taste is super wheaty with some slight sweet orange. There is some lighter wheat and somewhat citrus fruity aftertaste along with a quick dry finish.
The palate sits about a medium on the body. Carbonation feels kinda heavy, I’m really not feeling the love of any sort of sessionability with this one.
Overall, this is an American Pale Wheat ale and in my opinion has just a bit too much wheat that becomes too filling. I might not be an expert, but think Candia Road might want to tone down that wheat for a more balanced approach to the style. However, I’m glad to have tried a new company.

Thanks to Beerandblues2. Poured with a foamy white head with a slightly hazy yellow color. Aroma had light grain. Notes. A little spice and rough grains to this one. Okay, but not as refreshing as I had hoped or wished.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you sir! Almost a gusher, but not quite. Cloudy golden color, massive off white head. Aroma of dust covered citrus bubblegum left in attics. Taste is light citrus, white pepper, hay. Hi carbonation. OK.

22 oz. bottle. Perfect hazy gold with amber hues. Lasting retention with great lacing. The nose is a delightful mix of wheat yeast, and for me a very hard to describable spice and fruit. Reminds me of green apple. The taste is spot on the aroma’s. And pleasant in every aspect. Medium in body with a active amount of carbonation that give a slight tickle on the tongue. Some short of bitterness shows up, not sure if it is from spice or hops. Wheat Ale or Belgian Wit hybrid, this is amazing. I will be buying more of this.

22oz bottle–pours cloudy amber/orange with an oversized offwhite head. Aroma is spice/citrus, light malt/grain-bready, banana. Taste is spice hops, light malt/grain-bready, banana. Its better after the bottle has been open for 2 hours.

Pours a hazy deep golden color with a huge bubbly beige head that made pouring a bit challenging. Smells of banana and sweet bready and caramel malt mostly. Some fruity esters come wafting into my nostrils to round out the nose quite well. The flavor is sweet and malty with some banana and fruit with maybe a hint spice. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation and a sweet sugary mouthfeel. I’m not normally a bit fan of wheat beers, but something about this one just works for me. Maybe its the sweltering 90+ degree heat or maybe my palette has finally accepted the style, but I really enjoyed this one.
