For this collab with Edinburgh brewers Barney's Beer, we've chosen a malt-forward base, mixing heritage and Scottish malt, fermented using a Scottish yeast strain from our friends at Jasper Yeast. A bitter, piney and resinous IPA, with a grassy complexity brought by the hefty dose of Zappa, Chinook, Cascade, Cashmere and Columbus hops.

Cask at Marine Hotel. It pours clear amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is woody, nutty, sappy, cereal, pine, resin, biscuit, brown bread, touch of citrus and orange marmalade. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing bitterness, toasty grains, cereal, nuttiness, woody, piney, sappy, resin, tannin and bitter citrus peel with a drying finale. Medium body and soft carbonation. Interesting and quaffable. I like it a lot

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 6th June 2026. Copper with lively off-white foam and traveling lace. Burnt malt aroma with nuttiness. Rich nutty malts and citrus peel in-mouth, both of which feature in a rounded finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.
