Arôme discrètement parfumé suivi d’une saveur délicatement amère.
Au palais, L’Abbaye de Forest laisse un subtil fruité de raisin sec qui se conclut par un amer tonifiant très agréable en bouche.

opalescent pale yellow colour, huge white head, which collapses quite quickly; aroma of yeast, some citruses, coriander, minimal bread and crdboard; taste of a not really good dry blonde with some spiciness, minimal citruses, hoppy notes and cardboard again...drinkable, but far from being good

Blond color, with big white head, disappearing. Smell is spicy and yeast, a bit too much. Taste is spicy and yeasy too, but not much flavor. Average.

Initial musty aroma gives way to lots of yeast in the taste. Hazy golden body with soft white creamy head. Lots of grain, grass, hay, etc.

Bottle from the BBW a few years back. It was a crystal clear gold with a nice enough medium body and smooth to slick mouthfeel. The taste was a typical fruity belgian blonde. While good enough it was a pretty average belgian.

’Non-authentic’ abbey beer with a stable, sticky, snowy white head and a misty golden blonde colour. Nose grainy, apple, orange peel, grassy hops, white pepper, perhaps a hint of thyme. Fresh beginning, crisp, dry fruitiness, citrussy, lots of carbon dioxide, mineral-like, sour apple, malty sweetishness, medium long, grassy hop bitter finish. .

33cl bottle from Gouwen Aar. Gusher but not a bad one. Hazy blond pour. Thick creamy white head. An ok blond. Pity about the gushing

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.
