Arôme discrètement parfumé suivi d’une saveur délicatement amère.
Au palais, L’Abbaye de Forest laisse un subtil fruité de raisin sec qui se conclut par un amer tonifiant très agréable en bouche.

BOTTLE 33CL.

Look: clear golden (with yeast sediment) with a big ivory creamy head with good retention.
Aroma: yeast, delicate fruit, herbal hops, some Belgian spice, some acetaldehyde, meaty.
Taste: mostly dry, slight sweetness, herbal hops, light-to-medium bitterness, some traces of meaty broth here too.

Quite a nice Belgian blond.

Thx! to Kogymo. 33 cl. bottle sampled originating from a Belgian Family Brewers gift pack. Tacky label. Pours a nearly clear light (too light) golden with a creamy, lacing white head. Smells vaguely of coriander, cleaning products & cheap lemonade citrus, faint hops, touch yeast. Taste is similar, vaguely artificial lime peel, cleaning agents + cheap lemonade lemon, touch grassy, touch banana, light hops. Feels a bit thin in the flavour department & the carb. is way too high. Feels a bit bland, effortless & indistinguishable from the bulk for me.

Big white head. Hazy yellow body with strong carbonation. Spicy dried fruit aroma with bready notes. Dry spicy fruity strawberry taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish coarsely fizzy mouthfeel. Dry, almost bitter, spicy herbal aftertaste with dandelion notes. Nice, but a bit rough round the edges. (0.33l bottle, at Belga Brasserie Henri, Budapest.)

Very standard Belgian blond beer, you’ll find hundreds of these beers in Belgium.

7/VIII/13 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 30/X/14 (2013-697)

Clear light blond beer, huge fizzy white head, very stable, bit adhesive. aroma: lots of citrus, fruity touch, grassy hops, zesty, bit sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: grassy and herbal hops, some citrus, bit of hay, nice crispy bitterness, very clean. Aftertaste: citrus, bit of alcohol, hint of banana, grains, bitter grassy ending. I liked this one a lot, and I don't care what you think. :p

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 21 Oct 2012) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, peaches and marzipan. Malty taste with bread, peaches, candy sugar, marzipan and a mild grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Quite decent but a bit sticky.

fruitig aroma met tonen van rozijnen ? smaak kruidig, koriander met een lange zachte lichte bittere nasmaak. verder goed op elkaar afgestemde smaken, iets te lange bittere afdronk.
