Arôme discrètement parfumé suivi d’une saveur délicatement amère.
Au palais, L’Abbaye de Forest laisse un subtil fruité de raisin sec qui se conclut par un amer tonifiant très agréable en bouche.

Pours amber with a large, lasting head.Nose shows honey, lemon, floral hops, doughy yeast and soft phenols. The honey is incredibly strong.Same story with the flavours: loads of honey, with doughy yeast and soft spicy hops underneath. The finish seems a bit metallic. Too sweet.Carbonation is much too high.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Maltainen Riekko, 20110923) The beer poured pale golden and quite clear. Its head was white and quite large. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, malts, yeast, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. Clean and unfortunately too weak flavoured Belgian ale.

Bottled 330ml. -from Brasserie Henry, Budapest.
Pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, slight spicy and metalic nose. Malty, slight yeasty and mild fruity with salty notes, but in general here’s lack of everything.

Bottle. Dirty gold, large white head. Very high bead. Aroma of oranges, pears, cheese, mild honey, white pepper, juniper berries and cloves. Taste is sweet with more honey than fruit. Quite yeasty mouthfeel, with cheese and dough. Mild but complex spices are there in a fairly yeasty finish. Interesting beer that’s just a tad sweet for me.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dror. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of honey, fruits, yeast and light graininess. Sweetish fruity flavor with some honey. Light-medium-bodied.

At a tasting, thanks Dror, hazy lemon yellow colour, aroma of honey, peach and lightly toasted bread, yeasty flavour with notes of honey, too sweet and thick.
