On tap at DHVL. Pours clear red with a small pink head. Aroma of tart cherries with typical De Troch funk, a little pooey with light vinegar. Flavour is above light sweet and over moderate sour. A little watery in the mouthfeel. Above light bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Heeren van Liederkerke. Ruby red with small pink head. Light cherry, rubber, sour grains, cherry pits, some light vegetables, bit of garbage juice. Taste is medium sour and light bitter. Thin bodied with barely any carbonation. Drinkable enough.

Red pour with a bubbly pink head. Sour fruity, oak and cherries in the nose. Perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Ohhh what a nice mellow cherries flavor. Ahhhh what a lovely drink! Lovely summer time.

The unblended cherry lambic from De Troch, only very occasionally used for the production of an oude kriek. Light red colour with orange-pinkish hue, obviously no head, ’mals’ and soft character but fully traditional, bit meaty, some vague gingerbread- and even (strangely) sweet cherry-like sweetness, notes of swimming pool-like chlorine, rusty iron, sour yoghurt, almond and blackberry jam; ample fruit, lactic acidity leading to a long dry finish with an almost 'bitter green weed' and strong tannic quality to it. A bit weird like most of De Troch's output, but genuine and complex for sure.

Bottle shared at Borefts ’13, thanks to Kamiel, 27/09/13. Dark amber with light reddish hues and no head. Nose is light cherry balsams, tarte fruit stained oak, soured cherry, light acidic twang, vinegars. Taste comprises soured cherry, strong fruit balsams, acidic notes, woody, dank tasting, fruity dry rot. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry acidic finale. Ok - a little OTT on the vinegars.

I expected more from this. It has a hint of lambiek, but the sweet cherry is dominant. Too bad.
