Opaque black - brown beer with a decent pale tan head. Palate has body and fine sharp carbonation. Medium dark malts and semi sweet wood, just a trace of vanilla. Medium bourbon. Quite an earthy sweet Impy this one, especially in the mid and finish. Nice enough!

Bottle courtesy of t0rin0, thanks! Very dark brown color, small tan head. Aroma of chocolate covered brownies. Taste is thick, rich brandied chicolate bon bons and peppermint. Tasty.

Bottle shared by Walt. Pours with a black hued body with a medium sized tan head. Aromas are of cola, brown sugar, chocolate and bourbon, some licorice, malty, caramel and toasty with light vanillin. Flavors are of cola, brown sugar, nutty, medium whiskey. Full body, lightly warming, balance nicely. Good!

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a medium creamy beige head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong roasted malt, chocolate, graham cracker, and oak. Medium mouthfeel with a rich vanilla and roast with light bourbon in the finish. Hides the alcohol very well, a very impressive imperial stout from Saint Arnold.
