12 oz can poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Canned on 9/29/2014. Hazy straw yellow with a no more than a finger of off-white head. Aromas of citrus, wheat, a little hay, light herbs and spices. Pretty light aroma. Tastes of citrus, wheat, light herbs and spices, light hops. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Solid, could see myself knocking back a few if I were at a game.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, yeast, wort and a bit of light sugars - nothing pungent here though. Light-bodied; Strong bitterness from the malt that fades quickly and shows a dry herbal and spicey character, some light sugars and a bit of a honey and floral finish. Aftertaste is fairly simplistic with just light malt and a bit of sugars coming through, but nothing assertive nor offensive - which is a good thing. Overall, a nice and relatively light beer with some decent flavours and a smooth finish. Nice to sample and a decent beer to have while supporting the local football team here. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Falls Church (Tyson’s Corner) on 19-September-2014 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 25-October-2014.

Draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of sweet pale malts, a husky note, herbal hops. The taste is stone fruits, pale malts, hay, herbal hops and something reminiscent of tomato I couldn’t shake. Medium bodied.

Draft at the source. Hazy yellow color, fluffy white head, solid lacing. Aroma of black pepper and hay. Taste is straw, white pepper. Easy drinking, but too lager-like for me.
