22 oz bottle courtesy of Suttree, shared at the beastiefan2k going away tasting. The pour is clear golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is overly sweet floral malt, along with caramel, fruit, and an herbal bitter hoppiness. The taste expresses the sweet caramel floral malt more as honey, though it is still sticky sweet. The herbal hops are muddled in there as well, very a part from the sweetness. The taste didn’t really work for me, though I certainly see what they were going for. The palate is medium bodied, lingering sweet finish, and well masked alcohol. Thanks Phil.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thanks! Hazy pale yellow color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of fruity sweet hay and white pepper. Taste is sweet and bright grass, lemongrass, bitter finish. Much more hoppy than your average tripel, which in my book makes it more interesting than others in the style. Very nice.

22 ounce bottle courtesy of Suttree. Thanks! Pours a murky orange color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of stone fruits, caramel, herbal hops, spice, bready malts. The taste is toasted malts, herbal hops, caramel, faint fruits, spice and a faint bit of butterscotch and salt. Medium bodied, slight heat. Not bad, but a bit sweet and a little disjointed.

On tap at the Nook. Pours dark gold with a very thin, bubbly head. The aroma is nectarines, oranges, hay, caramel, and candy sugar. The flavor is cloyingly sweet, with a little bitterness in the finish. The palate is medium, syrupy, and flat. Overall, this beer isn’t bad, but it certainly is not a tripel. It lacks depth, complexity, and proper yeast.
