Backlog January 2009. Golden body under a fine off-white head. Aroma has malt and fruity hops. Taste has mild, smooth, sweetish malt, peach and decent bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Rarther average, decent pale ale.

Popped open the bottle from Total Wine, South Richmond and it appeared to be smoking. Obviously it wasn’t, but it was interesting nonetheless. Pours amber with a soft beige head. Aroma is floral hops, citrus, light soap. Flavor is floral hops, citrus, a bit of white bread, some minor grass, barley. Tingly on the tongue. Average at best. Boring at worst.

A: Nice motley gold color with a 1" tight head that retains fairly well. good lacing also. S: Citrus/pine hop smell. Nice but well worn smell. T: Bitter pine and juicy grapefruit.. Same as a hundred or so American pale ale/IPAs. Just not as strong. Malt bread is barely noticeable but good for overall flavor balance. M: Light with a zippy amount of bubbles. Slight stickiness on the finish. O: I keep trying these organic beers looking for the genie in the bottle. This beer is reasonably priced and comes with organic certs. Wont break any records for originality but is worth drinking if knowing what you’re drinking is important to you.

On tap at Fish Tale, pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma is nearly non-existent, with biscuity malt and not much else. Flavour is bland as hell, with light floral hops, a touch of fruitiness and just enough caramel malt backing. Boring but decently brewed.
