Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a hazy orange colored body with a one finger white foamy head that rapidly dies within about twenty seconds, clingy lacing circles the glass and takes a while to spider web, though a hazy body, some carbonation is seen rising.
The smell had burnt citrus, and a little bit of biscuit.
The taste was mainly sweet through the citrus, tries to be bitter but kinda comes through in a bland way, slight citrus aftertaste, slick finish.
On the palate, it was light, sessionable. Carbonation is pretty light and smooth, different for the style, but not bad to me.
Overall, this is not bad for an APA, but not the greatest APA on the market, would I have this again? Unsure for the most part, but I guess the thing its got goinโ for it is that its organic, thatโs if you like that sort of thing.

Further proof that just because something is organic does not mean that it is good. +++ Sampled form a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a small soapy tan head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet sugar and very faint tropical fruits. The flavor was tangy table sugar, a hint of tartness, cardboard and very faint tropical fruits. Short finish of sugar and fruit. Medium body. Disappointing.

Bottle from Darbyโs, Vancouver
Hazy amber color. Mild aroma of hops, malt, fruits and cereals. Some malt and cereals flavor; ordinary bitterness; dry finish. Simple Pale Ale, not very aromatic; it may be not fresh anymore.

Hazy copper, lifeless looking, not showing much effervescence or head. Nose has faint hops, citric and floral. Biscuity caramelly syrupy malt background in the aroma, lightly oxidized, sherry-like. Very low carbonation, thin malts, papery sherry like, a bit like an old ale, with a medium bitter finish. Must be a significantly old bottle, except that I just noticed how similar my comments are to many other ratings...

Clear slightly amber tinted golden coloured body with a bit of gold mixed in with a thinnish tan head on top. Aroma of light hops, some light caramel and a touch of malt - not too much in the nose. Medium to Light-bodied; Mild malty flavour with some caramel and a touch of earthy and slightly floral hops noticeable. Aftertaste has some light sweetness, a touch of nuts and a slight earthy bite near the end. Overall, a decent APA, on the lighter (hop) side of things with more of an amber ale character than most beers of the style. Not bad, but wish it had more hops. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in St. Petersburg, Florida on 13-November-2010 sampled at home in Washington on 07-January-2011.

12 oz bottle into lager glass. Aroma is grainy, piney, citrusy. Pours a slightly hazy gold with no head and a collar of foam full of big bubbles and substandard lace (ugly!). Taste starts out a little sweet, but remains just a little bitter for the rest of the drink. Not as bitter as most examples of the style. Carbonation is medium-high. Texture is a little oily. Finish is fairly long and a little sour. Pretty boring. Itโs very straightforward but drinkable. An easy session beer.
