Beer from A, brewed by 3000 people in Antwerp. Antwerp residents always know better. Together with Gazet van Antwerpen, we wisely asked them about their opinion when we started our fifth test brew. With major consequences: more than 3000 people made themselves heard! In the City brewery they tasted our previous test brews and immediately described their ideal beer. Our brewer was set to work with those 3000 opinions, and came out with 1 beer: Bier van A, a quirky test brew of high fermentation with a refreshing orange hue. While hibiscus provides a subtle fruity aroma, this beer also combines the slightly sweet taste of caramel and malt with a mild bitterness.

Mooi kruidig biertje met aangename speciale aroma's. Van 't vat. Het 'Bolleke' proef je er ook in.

Draft at Gollem, Amstelstraat. Slight hazy amber with a small cream head. Aroma is massively floral, hibiscus, pot pouri with citrus, yeast and fruity notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

On-tap in Gollem, Antwerp on 20th Dec 2016. Misty deep amber pour, smooth white head on top. Fruity and malty throughout, a little too fruity and sweet for it’s own good maybe. My sweet tooth liked it but I doubt this will be any more tham ’test brew #5’.

Ridiculously sweet. Just liquid candy. Freeze it, and make a popsicle instead, much better use for it. That said, pretty good soda.
