This bitter, chocolate Oatmeal Stout is the perfect companion for those "it's getting dark way too early" nights in front of the woodstove/fireplace:). This will, without a doubt, take the chill out; and to smooth out the strength, we added a healthy dose of Ghiradelli chocolate!

Can from the brewery.Opaque black, thin head, light viscosity/lacing.Aroma strong bitter, earthy chocolate. Taste strong earthy, milk chocolate, astringent bitterness.Smooth texture, soft carbonation, thin for style.Don’t love earth/bitterness.

12 oz can share by Tom. Aroma is mild chocolate with a earthy hint. Flavor shows chocolate with a sharp Astringency in the finish. Very thin body. Aaaaaah no.

Undated can shared by tfontana on 6/20/26. Thanks, Tom!
Prune and raisin with, yes, bitter chocolate. Smells like it might be a bit on the thinner side....not getting much in the way of good base malt. So much dark fruit. Clean.
Hmmm, yeah...this tastes like it's about 4% abv. Super light, thin, watery, but clean. Bitter chocolate is pleasant but this needs way more body for its size.
