750mL bottle, pours near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of cocoa nibs, bourbon and almost some tart notes. Flavour isn't very complex, with notes of cocoa nibs and bourbon barrels, and again, a slight tart note in there. Not very complex and a little rough around the edges, but still quite decent. Off the mark for Three Floyds.

Bottle - Vinous and boozy with some dark sweet malts. Jet black with a beige light head. Boozy and dark malts. Bit on the sweet side. A bit to edgy and unrefined for me.

Bottle shared. Pours near black with a medium sized but short lived brown head. Aroma of massive bourbon, booze, vanilla, woody barrel, cocoa, light licorice, light soy and fudge. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Oily but not too thick mouthfeel with a bourbon alcohol warmth in the finish. Full bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Fairly balanced but stronger on the barrel and booze side. Seems like a higher ABV than 9% Good though!

Bomber courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Big thanks! cacao aroma. Thin creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Bourbon and alcohol in the aftertaste. Beautiful
