Draft at the Brewery. Red brown colour with golden head. Aroma beefy dubbel like, bit savoury soy sauce. Bit of smoke and spice and nice sweetness. Taste is slightly sour. Beefiness. Quite toasty with a touch of bitterness. Little bit floral, pretty nice.

Bottle mail order from the brewery. Rainy weather makes me want a dark beer. Luckily I had one last bottle of Chateau Kamiya Dunkel 5% Deep cola brown in color with a thick fluffy beige head and a rich bready soft cocoa bun aroma. Fairly full bodied with a prickly carbonation and dry finish. The taste is cocoa paste and spongy buns. Really tasty and easy to drink.

3-4 ounces as part of the beer sampler at Chateau Kamiya’s La Terrace restaurant. Clear amber brown with light tan head. Aromas of carmale, toffee, light licorice, subtle dark fruit. Tastes of caramel, toffee, roast, chocolate, light licorice and dark fruit. Medium body with a dry finish. Very nice.

Bottle, mail order from the brewery. Dark brown with a tall tan head and a touch of red. Slightly sweet malt aroma with chocolate and dried fruits. Dark malt flavor, slightly burnt, chocolate, not overly sweet at all, dry and mellow. Dryish, but a little too light. Not as rich as it should be. Decent, though, and nicely dry.

Muddy chestnut colour. A little bit nutty, malty in the aroma and flavour. A slight clean lactic tang in the finish. Fairly full body for style. Way too funky.

The aroma is very sweet and wheaty. The color is an unclear amber and it has a fine beige head though disappearing. The flavor is very sweet malty with hints of roast, but then the sweetness comes back with notes of oranges and fruit before it ends on a slightly bitter fruity (lemon) note.

Hazy amber color. Malt aroma, with some caramel and alight sweet wax. A light sourness and a bitterness in the front, fading later. Caramel. Dry mouthfeel. Light roasted malt.
Thanks to Jens (Ungstrup), Jacob (Lövenlund) and all the Danish crew for these rare beers!
