Brewed to celebrate 50 years of "Top Brands - Bottom Prices" from Home Bargains.
1975 was a year of long haired hippies, short sleeved T-shirts, and record breaking sunshine when the first "Home & Bargain" opened in Old Swan, Liverpool. It wasn't until 1995 that the name changed to Home Bargains.
Malts: Maris Otter, Wheat, Light Munich
Hops: Magnum, Cascade UK, Goldings

Hazy, golden-hued, with a small white head. The aroma features citrus, floral notes, caramel, and a hint of malt, while the taste offers malt, caramel, zest, and fruitiness. The light body and carbonation accentuate an earthy, grapefruit-like bitterness. It’s okay, but it feels like a celebration done on the cheap.

[50cl can from Home Bargains, Reading.] A hazy pale amber pour with a thick off white head; biscuity malt aroma with a touch of citrus; biscuity malt taste with some caramel; then a hedgerow bitterness with some lemon. Passable, but nothing celebratory about it.
