Light brown. Has a big smoky aroma. Lots of smoke on the palate, toasty malts, full body, pretty good balance.

Fall Keyaki 2015. Dark brown with a beige head. Bacon with maple syrup, caramel, roasted malt, cacao nibs and prune. Taste is sweet and smokey, but not overly sweet by any means. The finish is dry and smokey. Very enjoyable if you like smoked beers. --- Beer merged from original tick of Fujizakura Heights Rauch on 22 Sep 2015 at 13:06 - Score: 8

Pours dark brown, witha beige’ish white head. Aroma is thick with leather belt and smoke. Meaty bacon with some dark malts. Taste has some more smoke, prunes and dark fruits. Body is not very strong though, giving soon way for a longer smoky-malty aftertaste. Quite nice and definitely a great beer to try if you like smoke beers.

Bottle at home though I also had it on tap at Bungalow. The first Japanese beer that really blew my mind as well as one of the first smoked beers I’ve ever had. This is one of the best beers made in Japan and has never disappointed me. It pours a purple amber brown with a light beige foamy head. As soon as you have a glass nearby you can get the wonderful smoked aroma wafting towards you. The flavor starts off smokey, then brings up a spicy malt base and ends on a smokey note with subtle hints of bacon. One of my favorite Japanese beers.
