Many thanks to nibleprop for this bottle! Herbal nose with lots of spices. Smooth and very dry. Roasted malts, hints of red fruit. Nice and deep. Spices and caramel, moderate bittered with lots of spices and dark roasted malt on the tongue. Sessionable with hints of red fruity sourness over dar and dry roasted malt. Very interesting but nice and balanced. Dry fruity roasted bitter aftertaste. Great!

World of Beer, Arlington tap: Pours a dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is toasted, roasted malts, kind of like fresh and warm soft pretzels, coupled with fruitiness, and a nice little bit of hops. Taste is somewhat sweet. A little bit bitter. Quite fruity. Very well balanced.

Draft at the source. Deep amber brown color, thick beige head, solid lacing. Aroma of hazelnuts, caramwl, coffee, Ovaltine. Taste is cocoa, caffe au lait. Finally, a coffee beer subtle enough that the coffee diesn’t overwhelm the beer characteristics!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a translucent, deep brown with some creamy beige head. Nose is inviting, light grounds, malt, some yeasty enters, clove, raisin, roasted almond, bread. Flavor is well balanced, malt, brown sugar, a little rootbeer candy, buy always a subtle coffee in the background. Medium bodied, dry finish. Just a really well made weizenbock blended well with smartly roasted coffee.
