Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium dark brown head, dissipates leaving good lacing. Aroma is bourbon, molasses, dark chocolate, vanilla, a bit earthy. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, not hot. Foolish body. Solid effort

Keg at the brewery, 19/02/15. Noted at 11% ABV. Black with a decent tan swirl. Nose is rich roast, vanilla, chocolate, spice, mellow dark fruit shreds. Taste comprises rich roast, light coconut, dark chocolate, Bounty Bar, roasted tone, subtle barrel. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with an underlying boost. Decent BA impy, good balance, drinks below the ABV.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with tan head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is roast coffee, wood and cocoa. Thick mouthfeel with roasted malt, chocolate, oak, light booze finish, very impressive.

Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Pours black with a medium foamy light brown head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, coffee and malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Tap at the brewery during RBWG 2013. Pours clear brown with a fine, beige cream head. Pretty tasty stuff overall, medium to big sweetness but not cloying, light woody dryness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty clean for such a big boy. Good bourbon and cocoa. I like it.

750ml bottle, thanks GT2! Poured a dark ruby brown color with a small, wispy tan head. Aroma is some nice barrel notes, roasted, with plenty of sweetness. Plenty of toffee notes, caramel notes with some chocolate. This was pretty damn good.
