Can. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissiates to the edges. Aroma has a nice grass and hay combination with a bit of straw supporting. Flavor has lots of hay with a growing straw note and a bit of wet grass underlying.

Can on the ferry back from Fort Sumter. Enjoyed during massive winds on the water and on the 163rd anniversary of the start of the Civil War. Pours clear, light gold. Solid grain on both the aroma and flavor. Crisp finish. Nice beer.

12 oz. can. Thanks Ashley! Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a white head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Light pilsner malt aroma. Stronger pilsner malt flavor (versus the aroma), and enough sweet malt to balance, with a clean finish. Sharp, crisp mouthfeel, as it should be. Medium-high carbonation. Medium body. Medium bitterness, but not a hoppy flavor. Very refreshing on a hot day. A proper pilsner.

Sampled on tap at Holy City, pours a clear gold with some tight white head. Nose has the expected straw and cracker notes, mild lemon, a little peanut skin thing too. Flavor improves a bit, clearer malt, lemon, yeast, straw, mild pepper. Clean finish. Just fine.

Served on draft at Evo Pizza in North Charleston. Pours a clear golden color with a medium creamy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, bready malts and some caramel. The taste is grassy hops, pale malts and something herbal. Intense taste. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, average carbonation. Nice.

Solid pilsner from the young brewery. Hoppy but not over-the-top, maintaining a solid Euro-soul, with a nice graininess underneath. Finishes dry with a hint of sweetness without being clingy. Plus, this beer looks stunning-- the head is huge and leaves massive lacing as I put away the pint. Pretty dead-on attempt at the style. Good beer.
