The IPA was fashioned to survive the long voyage from England to India during the British colonization. Hops, hops, and more hops! Red Racer IPA has an intense aroma and a long lingering finish. A beer for the connoisseur, this is the brewmaster’s choice.

A damn good beer in an unassuming can from Surrey. Who’d of thought? I was expecting another false IPA, but all the strong hops taste and bitterness is there. Good amber foamy pour to boot. 355ml can.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a hazy golden color with a huge creamy orange-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweetish with moderate pine, resin and faint pineapple. The flavor was tangy pine, resin and sour caramel. There were faint undertones of grapefruit and pineapple. The finish was long and tangy with lingering caramel and pine. Fairly full bodied. Solid.

Deep golden, almost amber color with small steady off-white head. Piney-fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Pine, pine needles, resin - big time NW hops with quite tight bitterness.

So, I’m thinken this label looks like the one on fat tire, but it has some individual on the bike with her legs up in the air. As i get closer I see its not fat tire, you know I haven’t had that yet. Pop this metal conatainer and wahllah. Big dull bitter taste sensation following a dull hop olfactory. On style all the way. Its like I’m biting on a natural rubber old time o ring er sumthin. Pine tar sappy, hand soap bitter, chewing on one week old green grapefruit rinds. Better to have given this to one of you hop loven addictions, which the majority of you are, admit it. Rocky floating island thing for a head thru the session, which was poured from a can, how american is that, eh? One big bitter thick oily soapy experience from start to finish, this must be douple imperial india pale ale, heheh. Yes, no wonder it rates so doggon high on this site. Perfect example of a rude ipa, on style. All ipa are rude.

Can, courtesy of Enjoyit. A hazy, golden-orange beer with a small, off-white head. Citrusy, sweet aroma with some pink grapefruit. Bitter flavor with citrus, pink grapefruit juice and some malty sweetness. Hints of caramel. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Overall, a bit sharp bitterness, but a nice beer indeed, I bet it has surprised and frightened some people expecting a pale lager when they picked their canned beer. 110129
