Pours a hazy purple with some cloudy white head. Nice, musty nose, berries, grass, hay, lightly medicinal. Flavor is tart, berries, cherry, grass, rose petals, dandelion greens. Nice, tart finish. Sweet, tart and very drinkable.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. This beer pours a murky brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head and stringy lacing. Aroma of tart berries and oak. Medium body with a moderately sour raspberry character and notes of wood and malt. The finish is tart with a lingering raspberry aftertaste. Very good overall.

Had at the brewery during GABF 2012 week. Pours a cloudy deep red/brown color with a small head. A big nose of sour wood, berries and brown malts. The flavor is excellent: a flemish sour-like flavor of sweet fruit, very tart notes, lots of oak. Very tart at times, and really complex. Good.

Bottle @ home picked up at Mile High Denver. Pours a hazy maroon appearance with a pinkish head that dissipates fairly quickly. Tangy raspberry, a bit herbal/woody, bubbly, slightly red vinous, a bit tannic aroma. Moderately tart, a bit juicy, rich Cabernet, a bit strong, vanilla, woody, somewhat funky, rich raspberry flavor that finishes tart, dry, and vinous. Slight acidic afterburn like some of the Avery sours but not bad. Mostly just raspberries and red wine but it is easy drinking and tasty.
