Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear dark brown colored brew with an dry bitter taste with some sweetness. Hints of caramel and the Bambergian smokiness. Bamberg meets Dutch Gelderland.

Ever growing tight off white head stayed on an overly carbonated light copper coloured body. Smokey bacon aroma. Medium bodied, soft & finely carbonated over the tongue with a sticky back. Tea, spices, vegetal, syrup, jam & smoked tastes with sweet finish.

33cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop. F: big, tan, good retention. C: amber, hazy. A: a lot of smoked tones, smoked meat, bit caramel. T: medium malty base, smoked tones much lower than in aroma, bit smoked meat, fruity, caramel, relatively easy drinkable for the style, soft carbonation, this is very good balanced beer, fully enjoyed.

Pours a mostly clear copper colour. Aroma's: smoked, sweetish, true Schlenkerla. Retronasal follows this. Flavour is above moderate sweet and smokey bitterish. Medium bodied. Long finish, with reasonable bitterness. Nice!

330ml bottle from trade with MonsterMagnet. Many thanks chap! Pours a generally clear reddish amber, large off-white head. Prominent smoked meat on the nose, charred, caramel. Taste is brings noticeably caramelised meat, perhaps a little too much, with some charred woody notes. Doesn't really gel for me, it's largely fine but the caramelised notes begin to be a bit rich and off-putting.
