Tap. Pour clear reddish amber with a medium beige head - creamy with great lacing. Aroma is dominated by caramel. Flavor is the same, malty and lightly spicy from the rye. Very light sweetness, light bitterness. Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown to dark orange with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity and roasted malty. Mellow malty, roasted, smooth and light estery. Bitter and roasted malty finish.

Brewvival Trip Beer 42. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazy copper color with a large offwhite head. Fair head retention. Aroma of rye, toast, bread, caramel. The taste is caramel, toasted malts, rye, herbal hops. Medium bodied.

Draft at the source. Hazy amber brown color, tan edge head. Aroma of nuts and caramel. Taste is burnt caramel.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep red with a tan head that has a slight yellow hue. Head dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a good amount of dark bread with rye coming through and a touch of sweetness. Flavor starts with a bit of sweetness but is full of dark bread with a bit of rye coming through.
