Tap. Pour clear reddish amber with a medium beige head - creamy with great lacing. Aroma is dominated by caramel. Flavor is the same, malty and lightly spicy from the rye. Very light sweetness, light bitterness. Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep red with a tan head that has a slight yellow hue. Head dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a good amount of dark bread with rye coming through and a touch of sweetness. Flavor starts with a bit of sweetness but is full of dark bread with a bit of rye coming through.
