22oz bottle I picked up at a artisans market at Union Market in DC. Pours a clear amber with some thin, eggshell head. Nose is interesting, some muddled dark fruit, plum, malt, some orange peel but then a lot of tomato and a little celery seed. Flavor is the same, some mild sweetness, some tart tomato, herbal, oddly savory too. Slightly sticky finish. Very strange.

Brewvival Trip Beer 80. Draft at Brewvival. Pours a clear copper color with a thin frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of herbal notes, persimmons, earth. The taste is earth, syrupy fruits, persimmon, cinnamon, caramel. Medium bodied. Nice.

The high abv is well hidden. Dark brown color. Light fruit in the aroma. Flavor is lightly sour, with more fruit. I can taste the persimmon. This is a good beer. Lightly sweet finish.
